Day 1 / ARRIVE IN BUCHAREST – OVERNIGHT TRAIN TO MOLDOVITA
In the eavning, at Gara de Nord station in Bucharest, you will board the train to Bucovina region of Romania. Overnight sleeper train.

Day 2 / HIKE TO MOLDOVITA MONASTERY
At the train station you will be transferred to the guesthouse for breakfast. Today’s hike is about 13 km long (about 4 hours). You will then enjoy a gentle stroll through the village and then you will begin the hike to the Moldovita Monastery, one of the eight painted monasteries included in the UNESCO World Heritage in 1993. After the visit you will return to Moldovita village for dinner. Overnight at VIORICA SEMENIUC GUESTHOUSE 3*.

Day 3 / HIKE TO SUCEVITA MONASTERY
After breakfast you will begin the hike to Sucevita Monastery (15 km, about 5 hours). On the way you can admire the breathtaking scenery. After visiting the monastery and you will stop overnight in the Sucevita village. Overnight at VIORICA SEMENIUC GUESTHOUSE 3*.

Day 4 / HIKE TO HUMOR MONASTERY
After breakfast you will begin the hike through the forests and valleys of Bucovina to Humorului Monastery. Today’s route is about 12 km long (about 4 hours). After visiting the monastery and you will stop overnight in the nearby village. Overnight at FELICIA GUESTHOUSE 3*.

Day 5 / VORONET – TRANSFER TO MARAMURES REGION
After breakfast you visit the Voronet Monastery, another beautiful example of Romanian traditional architecture. After the visit you will begin driving to Maramures region (about 4 hours). If the Bucovina region is world renowned for the spectacular painted monasteries, the Maramures region is famous for the wooden churches. On arrival you will visit the oldest wooden church in Maramures, which dates back to the fourteenth century. Overnight at IURCA GUESTHOUSE 4*.

Day 6 - 7 / MARAMURES
You will spend this two days hiking in the awe inspiring Maramures region (about 15 km each day, about 5 hours). You will get the chance to discover the ancient wooden churches and explore more off the beaten track areas of this amazing county. If weather permits you can visit the Barsana Monastery, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Maramures. Overnight at MARIOARA GUESTHOUSE 3*.

Day 8 / SAPANTA MERRY CEMENTERY – CLUJ
After breakfast you will drive to Sapanta village for a visit at the world-famous Merry Cemetery. While everywhere in the world a cemetery is considered to be a solemn place here at Sapanta, one man called Ion Stan Patras, decided to change all that into a nice story of happiness and celebrating life instead of the passing. You will then continue towards Sighetu Marmatiei. Here you will visit the Memorial of the Victims of Communism, which offers an interesting insight into the horrors faced by the prisoners during the communist era in Romania. After the visit you will drive to Cluj, where you have the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight at TRANSILVANIA HOTEL 3*.

Day 9 / DEPARTURE FROM CLUJ
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport in Cluj.

Observations
- The prices are valid for 2019, except legal holidays in Romania, when additional costs may apply;
- We will supply you with all the required company details, including the SWIFT code, in order to safely proceed with the payment;
- Payment will be made in Euros, to the provided bank account;
- In case of payment by credit card, the bank will perceive an extra comission of 1.6%, of the full value of the transaction;
Reservation
- The payment will be made, as follows:
- For the ground services, an advance payment of 30% of the full value of the package, will be made at the moment of the reservation;
- The other 70% of the full value of the package, will be paid the latest, one month before the beginning of the services and the exact dates for the payment will be set through annexes to the contract;
- For service confirmations received 30 days before they commence, full prepayment will be made at the moment of the confirmation;
- If the client wishes to include also the flights in the present package, the price for the flights, will be paid in full, at the moment of their reservation;
- Airline companies can modify the flight’s schedule or status, according to their internal organization, without any prior notice to the travel agency. TRIPTAILOR cannot be made liable for any changes in the schedule of the booked flight, which falls completely in the responsibility of the airline company.
